Executive Chef

📍 Bethesda, MD | 💼 Full Time, Exempt | 💰 $125K+ DOE

We’re seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations for high-profile events, weddings, corporate functions, and major national sporting events. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership, and operational expertise on a grand stage.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Culinary Innovation: Design and execute seasonal, trend-forward menus that wow diverse clientele.
  • Inspire & Develop Talent: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing culinary team for daily operations and large-scale events.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence: Oversee purchasing, inventory, and cost controls while ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with operations, sales, and event teams to deliver seamless, unforgettable guest experiences.
  • Represent at the Highest Level: Lead tastings, attend client meetings, and oversee culinary execution at premium events nationwide.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience: Culinary degree required; advanced certifications a plus. Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership, including 5+ years as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary role.
  • Event Expertise: Off-premise catering and large-scale event experience highly preferred.
  • Skills & Traits: Exceptional culinary talent, deep knowledge of food trends, proven leadership in high-volume, high-pressure environments, and strong business acumen in cost management.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for major events.
