Lab Technician I

Location: Walpole, MA

Duration: 12-month contract

Pay Rate: $24–$26 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician I to join our team in a dynamic biotech environment. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in laboratory operations and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing formulation protocols in accordance with established SOPs
• Conduct data and batch record reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Carry out calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Support general laboratory duties and cleanliness standards
• Utilize Microsoft Office and SAP for documentation and inventory tracking
• Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, and QSR standards
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting process improvement and operational goals
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic laboratory and regulatory principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in a cGMP manufacturing setting
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
• Excellent laboratory technique and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Must be able to pass a DEA background check
